Joy-Con controllers can be used as standalone controllers with an analog stick, a full set of buttons, a built-in motion sensor, and HD vibration. They can be attached to the special Joy-Con grip and used as a traditional controller with left and right parts or shared between two players for instant multiplayer in front of the TV or on the go. The left Joy-Con is equipped with a capture button that instantly takes a gameplay screenshot from the current game when pressed, which you can share with your friends on social networks. The right Joy-Con features an NFC area to allow interaction with Nintendo Amiibo figures, as well as an IR camera that detects the distance, shape, and movement of objects in certain specially designed games.
